Key Responsibilities of the LPN or Registered Nurse in a School Setting:
- Implement and follow individualized Care Plans for each client, obtaining MD orders as necessary.
- Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered.
- Document any changes in patient conditions and communicate observations effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and discuss them with supervisors.
Qualifications of the Registered Nurse or LPN in a School Setting:
- Currently licensed as an RN or LPN in Massachusetts.
- Previous experience as a RN or LPN is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and client care skills.
- CPR certification is required.
