About the Role of the Registered Nurse/LPN in a Homecare/Private Duty Setting:
As a Registered Nurse or LPN at Excel Home Care and Nursing Services, you will have the opportunity to provide life-changing care, allowing patients to receive the highest quality care. You will build meaningful relationships with patients and their families, providing support and guidance during critical moments. Your role will involve caring for individuals with diverse and complex medical conditions, helping you expand your expertise and grow your skills across various areas of healthcare.
Position Highlights of the Registered Nurse/LPN:
Our Nurses provide medical care to individuals in a variety of settings, focusing on personalized and specialized healthcare. Key job duties include:
- Conducting assessments: Regularly evaluating the patient’s condition to develop and adjust personalized care plans.
- Administering medications and treatments: Following physician instructions to ensure proper medication administration and medical treatments.
- Monitoring health status: Tracking vital signs, symptoms, and any changes in the patient’s condition.
- Providing direct medical care: Assisting with tasks such as wound care, IV therapy, and managing medical equipment.
- Coordinating care: Communicating with the patient’s healthcare team and family to ensure seamless, comprehensive care.
- Patient education: Teaching patients and families about ongoing care needs, medical procedures, and health management.
Qualifications of the Registered Nurse/LPN:
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing and currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
- CPR Certification required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- A positive attitude and a genuine passion for helping others!
