About the Role of the Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA) in a Facility Setting:

As a Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA) at Excel Home Care and Nursing Services, you will have the opportunity to provide life-changing care, allowing patients to receive the highest quality care in a variety of facility settings. You will build meaningful relationships with patients and their families, providing support and guidance during critical moments. Your role will involve caring for individuals with diverse and complex medical conditions, helping you expand your expertise and grow your skills across various areas of healthcare.

• Personal Care Assistance: Help clients with daily hygiene tasks like bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral care.
• Companionship and Emotional Support: Offer social interaction and companionship, bringing joy and comfort to clients.
• Meal Preparation & Nutritional Support: Assist with meal prep, feeding, and grocery shopping while adhering to clients’ dietary needs.
• Household Management: Ensure a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for clients.
• Health Observation & Reporting: Monitor client’s physical and mental well-being, documenting and reporting significant changes to the care team.
• Mobility Assistance: Safely assist clients with movement and transfers.
• Health Practices Reinforcement: Provide guidance to clients and families to reinforce positive health habits and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Must have or be willing to complete Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
• Active driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
• Ability to work independently with strong communication skills.
