What are the requirements to work at Excel Homecare & Nursing Services?

Employees must have a physical examination and TB screening completed within 12 months prior to, or upon employment. Employees must have a valid driver’s license and nursing certification. In addition, all employees are required to pass reference and criminal background checks before being placed out in the field.

Can employees choose to be scheduled at facilities of their choosing, at times of their choosing?

Yes, you can choose facilities, but you will have to check with your recruiter or scheduler to see which facilities have shift needs that match your desired schedule. We have contracts with facilities in western, central, and eastern Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Do employees get paid weekly or biweekly?

Excel employees are paid weekly, with checks given every Friday. Direct deposit and pay cards are available.

Do employees receive benefits?

After the first full month of employment, full-time Excel employees may become eligible for the employer-provided health insurance plan, Delta Dental, and paid time off. After 1 year of employment, the 401 K plan becomes available with up to a 4% match!
